The Nikon D300S is a digital SLR camera that offers both 12.3 megapixel stills and HD movie shooting with the added benefits of 7fps action sequences and flexible CF/ SD card compatibility.
Super Fast 51-point AF System
The D300s features a Multi CAM 3500 DX AF sensor which gives an exceptionally wide AF area coverage. Its wide spread is also means that fast moving and unpredictable subjects do not cause problems. Choose from three AF modes: Dynamic-area AF, Single-point AF and Auto-area AF.
D-Movie with Stereo input terminal
Movie recording on the D300s is not just an afterthought. They have taken time to carefully integrate movie and stills recording. You can easily switch during capture between stills and movies by simply pressing the LV button. In-camera movie editing is also possible. As well as autofocus during recording, the D300s has terminals for stereo sound input.
Continuous Shooting
With still sequence shooting as rapid as 7 frames per second using the basic battery alone (2.5fps RAW), it’s easy to get those important action stills.
High Eyepoint 100% Area Viewfinder
See it all with a viewfinder coverage of approx 100% frame area. Comfort is considered too with a high eyepoint of 19.5mm (at -1.0 m-1).

For rich and accurate colours with smooth skin tones and high detail levels with low noise. This processor also features Nikon’s exclusive Picture Control system to tailor the look and feel of your images.
