The advanced optical design includes two ED (Extra Low Dispersion), two Super ED, two XA (Extreme Aspherical) and three aspherical elements for outstanding resolution. The 11-blade circular aperture gives beautiful background defocus. Four XD (Extreme Dynamic) Linear Motors with their complex construction deliver faster, more accurate focusing capabilities for both photography and videography. Perfect for movie shooting, the SEL2470GM2 delivers smooth, fast, continuous autofocus performance with minimised focus breathing and focus shift and axis shift when zooming.
