Description
This extra bright f/1.8 lens is uses top class optics from the prestige Carl Zeiss stable. The T* coating gives amazing protection against flare and ghosting, and the aluminium alloy casing is robust for continual everyday use.
This wide angle lens gives the equivalent of 36mm on a 35mm camera and can focus as close as 16cm giving 1:4 reproduction ratio. The linear autofocus motor is extra fast and quiet and can be overridden at any moment using the Direct Manual Focus function. For smoothness to out-of-focus areas there is a rounded 7-blade aperture too.
