Videographers can enable linear focusing for controlled, accurate manual focus pulling. Focus breating is highly suppressed, so you can shift focus without noticeably affecting the angle of view.

It eliminates incidental light coming from both diagonal and vertical directions, giving this full-frame telephoto lens exceptional control over ghosting and flare. Optical design
The complex optical construction comprises 16 lens elements in 14 groups. With the large Z mount allowing for optimum spacing of the elements, and the 11 rounded aperture blades minimising diffraction, aberrations are thoroughly suppressed at any aperture. Advanced optical technologies include the front lens element, which is ground from Nikon’s high-dispersion SR glass that counters hard-to-correct chromatic aberration by specifically targeting shorter wavelengths. And an aspherical lens element corrects sagittal coma and spherical aberrations, while also compensating for the curvature of field.

Tough and lightweight
This Nikon Z 135mm is constructed entirely from tough yet lightweight metal. Extensive sealing around the joints & buttons and a rubber gasket on the lens mount keep dust, dirt and moisture at bay. Nikon's florine coating repels dirt and makes the front element easy to clean.
