HERO13 Black captures the action with crisp detail and exacting image quality so any shot with any lens will look amazing. 5.3K video also lets you grab stunning photos up to 24.7MP from your footage using the GoPro Quik app.

Rugged and waterproof to 10m
HERO13 Black was built to take a beating. It’s ready to capture the fun on any adventure whether you’re tearing through mud, snow or water (down to 10m). A water-repelling lens cover even helps eliminate lens flare and other artifacts to help keep your photos and videos crystal clear.

Front & rear LCD screens

Spend more time recording and less time charging. A higher-capacity 1900mAh Enduro battery gives you longer runtimes in all conditions, from hot to freezing and everything in between. You’ll get 1.5 hours of continuous recording at 4K30 or 5.3K30, plus over 2.5 hours of continuous recording at 1080p30.

More mounting options
HERO13 Black features 3 mounting options that make it more versatile than ever. The new Magnetic Latch Mount1 makes it faster and easier to swap your camera from one mounting setup to another. Use the built-in mounting fingers to securely attach your camera to GoPro mounts when you need durable mounting in rough conditions. The 1/4-20 mounting threads can be used with tripods and other standard camera accessories.

Burst Slo-Mo
HERO13 Black features GoPro's slowest slo-mo ever with the ability to record video clips with the action slowed down to 13x normal speed. You’ll also be able to record short 4x slo-mo clips using our highest 5.3K resolution video to catch epic details that you’d never be able to see with the naked eye.

HLG video
HERO13 Black takes its best-in-class image quality to the next level with the option to record in Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), a standard HDR format that the pros use to capture 5.3K and 4K video in the 10-bit and Rec. 2100 color space. This advanced feature requires a compatible display and media player for playback. Users can still capture video using HDR without HLG for viewing on standard displays and media players.

HB-series lenses with auto detection
HERO13 Black is compatible with the optional HB-series lenses that let you instantly set up your camera for a variety of specialty shots. The Ultra Wide Lens Mod is the ultimate POV lens for action-packed scenes and epic landscapes. The Macro Lens Mod captures close-up shots in stunning detail. Neutral Density Filters add motion blur to your footage and let you adjust the lighting in your shots with professional results. Try the Anamorphic Lens Mod for pro-level cinematic shots. HERO13 Black even detects when a lens or filter is attached and automatically adjusts its settings accordingly.

HyperSmooth 6.0
HyperSmooth 6.0 in-camera video stabilization gives you impossibly smooth footage no matter how rough it gets. HyperSmooth AutoBoost ensures that you’re getting the widest stabilized footage possible by seamlessly adjusting the shot based on your speed and movement.

Widescreen, Vertical and full screen Capture
HERO13 Black’s powerful 1/1.9-inch image sensor lets you do more. Choose widescreen capture (16:9 aspect ratio) for full-screen playback on a TV or vertical videos (9:16 aspect ratio) for social media posting. For maximum versatility, the full frame option (8:7 aspect ratio) captures a 156° field of view that lets you crop in to create widescreen and vertical shots later.

Audio tuning
Audio Tuning lets you adjust sound recording to better fit what you’re capturing. Choose balanced true-to-life sound that’s great for most shots or the Voice setting that enhances vocal clarity while also preserving ambient background sounds.

Videos automatically sent to your phone
Simply plug in your GoPro when connected to your home Wi-Fi. While it’s charging, your footage is automatically uploaded to the cloud and used to make a highlight video complete with beat-synced music and effects. Videos are automatically sent to your phone and ready to share.

Wi-Fi 6 technology
HERO13 Black uses Wi-Fi 6 technology for faster, more reliable offloads to your phone and the cloud. You can also choose a lightning-fast wired connection via USB or use your microSD card (not included) to transfer your content to a computer. There’s also unlimited cloud storage with hassle-free auto-upload. Just plug in your camera when connected to your home Wi-Fi and the camera does the rest.

Night effects video & photos
HERO13 Black features 3 time lapse and photo modes that let you get creative after dark. Star Trails uses the Earth’s rotation and stars to capture beautiful light trails across the night sky. Light Painting lets you create brilliant brush stroke effects with moving light. Vehicle Light Trails uses night-time traffic to record stunning light trail shots.
