Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Camera with RF 24-105mm F4 lens

The groundbreaking Canon EOS R5 is aimed at professional photographers and film makers, as well as creative enthusiasts. The full-frame 45 megapixel CMOS sensor coupled with Canon's high-speed DIGIC X processor ensures superb image quality, up to 20 fps shooting and super-fast AF speed at 0.05 sec., with head, body & eye focus recognition that works on animals, birds as well as humans. A maximum ISO 51200 and -6EV AF gives excellent low-light performance. The EOS R5 camera is also perfect for videographers with 12-bit 8K RAW video recording, while 4:2:2 10 bit 4K footage can be shot at frame rates up to 120p for superb slow-motion effects. The R5 includes a 5-axis image stabiliser that can work together with a Canon RF lens’s own IS system to deliver up to in incredible 8-stops of protection against camera shake (when used with selected RF lenses) which is great for hand-held shooting. A magnesium-alloy body and protective seals guard against dust and moisture.

DIGIC X image processor
A custom-designed DIGIC X image processor takes data from the camera’s sensor and produces image files of exceptional quality. Digital noise is kept to a minimum – not just at high ISO settings, but all sensitivities. Sharpness is improved with an all-new clarity adjustment and extra dynamic range is available.

Dual Pixel CMOS AF II
Dual Pixel CMOS AF II is lightning-fast to focus and boasts 5940 AF selectable positions, covering virtually 100% of the frame.

Intelligent AF
The camera’s autofocus is programmed using a deep-learning AI – first developed for our ground-breaking EOS-1D X Mark III. This enables the EOS R5 to recognise and track a subject’s face and eyes with new levels of accuracy and precision, even when viewed from the side. This tracking ability is also available when photographing dogs, cats and birds, keeping them in sharp focus as they move.

Ultimate speed
Capture 45 megapixel, full-frame images at a staggering 20fps in complete silence and with full autofocus tracking. And, for situations that need it, a mechanical shutter is also available, allowing class-leading shooting speeds up to 12fps.

Perfect for film makers
Capture superb 12-bit RAW video internally at 8K, or record 4K (4:2:2 10-bit) at frame rates up to 120p for exceptional slow-motion effects. All this using the full-width of the camera’s full-frame sensor for a truly cinematic look. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with Face/Eye Detection keeps things looking sharp and allows impressive pull-focus transitions in all video modes.

Advanced EVF and vari-angle screen
The electronic viewfinder so advanced it feels like there’s nothing between you and your subject, thanks to 5.76 million dot resolution, 100% coverage and a 120 fps refresh rate. A 3.15-inch, 2.1 million dot vari-angle screen helps with composition from unusual and creative angles.

Wi-Fi & Bluetooth
The EOS R5 uses an always-on Bluetooth Low Energy connection to maintain a continuous link with a smart device. Simply launch the Canon Camera Connect app and the camera establishes a fast Wi-Fi connection that enables photographers to browse, review and transfer images, as well as shoot remotely.

Dual card slots
Dual card slots support ultrafast UHS-II SD media. Back up files as you shoot, save JPEGs and RAW files to different cards, and even store photos and movie footage separately
