ONE OF A KIND
Fujifilm’s new instax SQ20, the latest in the range, is designed to give you square photos perfect for Instagram. Images work out at 62mm x 62mm and are stored as JPEGS on a normal micro SD card. Single point autofocus keeps everything sharp, while a 4x digital zoom gives you the freedom to get right into the action. A 33.4mm fixed focal length and constant F2.4 aperture complete the specs. When fully charged, the SQ20 can hold up to 100 prints with reprints of the last 50 possible.
As well as square stills, you can also shoot video, up to 15 seconds at a time. You can even create a time shift collage by shooting four images with a time difference between them of anything from 0.2 to 2 seconds.
CELEBRITY INSTAX
For something a bit special, Fujifilm has announced a new instax SQ6 Taylor Swift edition. As an Instax user herself she was a natural choice for this special edition product. Adorned with her signature on the back and gold coloured newspaper print on the front, it mimics the look of her album Reputation. With an extra Taylor Swift strap and case, what’s not to like for fans?
As far as the specs go, the SQ6 uses instaz SQUARE film, includes a retractable lens as well as modes for macro, normal and landscape. A self-timer, flash and LED display (with five shooting modes) completes the lineup. Released at the same time as the camera will be Taylor Swift Edition film with a print of her autograph in the black frame. The launch date is currently stated for October 20th.
